Whereas it seems the rest of the country is going straight into the drink with housing issues, it is still astrofuckingnominal to RENT let alone BUY anything here. I was checking out some new townhomes that popped up, starting in the mid 900's. That's $900,000 to start. Yes, kids, that's right, here in The Bullshit Political Capitol of World new townhomes and condos are popping up all over the place. So, you really think the politicians are worried about the housing market in your town?

Let's throw around some numbers...$1000/month will get you shot at, robbed, your car stolen and just maybe your neighbors might be able to say "hello" in English. $1500/month and you can park your car safely, unsavory characters still prowl the grounds at night but the neighbors still can only say "hello" in English. $2000/month, (yes, this is for an apartment, not a house, townhouse or condo) will place you in a high-rise with a bunch of other wankers who can say "hello" in English along with "look at the trash that just moved in".

Now, you may be thinking that I'm talking about downtown. Nope, this is the freaking suburbs, 25 miles from downtown. Want cheaper? Move to West Virginia or Pennsylvania. Not just over the border either, I'm talking 45-60 minutes from the border. Hell, I should go live in Cleveland and just fly in every week. I'd be rolling in the dough and racking up the frequent flyer miles.

Wait till you hear about traffic and transportation around here. Good thing I can run farther than 5 miles.

What's with today's 20somethings?

What is this, the "Gimme Generation"? Why do the 20somethings think they are owed something? Why don't these lazy fuckers get out and work for a change. I've never in all my years seen such a bunch of lazy, nonworking, want everything, spoiled rotten, worthless individuals in my life. Work? What's that? Oh, it's not what I do at my job...I get to surf myspace and youtube there and pretend I'm doing something productive. I hope someone has the balls to institute the draft and send these spoiled baby-boomer brats off for a little taste of motivation and discipline. Pick a service, send 'em in for 2 years of mandatory fun and then see what they think and act like when they get back in the world. Betcha there'll be a big change in most.

Fucking baby-boomers spoiled their offspring rotten! You can see where the lack of discipline and motivation to work went...Just look at the draft dodging, pot smoking, free love, bleeding heart liberals who are afraid of getting old and won't give up the mantle to the rest of us hard working individuals who want to try and change the world before the fucking spoiled brats get there. Probably won't happen though. "Daddy" or "Mommy" got them a cushy cake walk job and they don't have to work, just take up space and continue to steal oxygen. Who needs an $80,000 SUV at 22? WTF? The kids didn't pay for it and don't know the value. Stupid little fuckers need to get their attitudes rearranged.

Here's the short of it... you bust your ass trying to make a difference and feed your family without sinking into the black hole of debt and the skinny little child next to you is living at home, probably making more than you, buying 80K trucks as toys, and refuses to get of his/her soon to be fat asses and do nothing more than surf the net looking for more toys to go buy. Like they think we're really interested. You end up carrying their ass so the customer won't get shafted and you fuck yourself up in the process. Now, you can't work like normal, got see the fucking doctor every week, pay MORE bills and now the little fucker is giving YOU shit because you can't lift something. Where's the justice? What I wouldn't give for 5 minutes with one of these slackers, it'd be worth the lawsuit to see them explain to their friends and family that that old, fat guy who wears glasses and is going bald fucked them up this bad. Now there's justice!

BTW, doc says I can't do shit for another 3 weeks...

Kicking My Own @SS!

Been real busy working for the man here in Va as of late, I relocated to Va from Md back in April. Boy, it is a pain in the ass it is to register a car in this state - Title, Registration, Plates, Safety and Emissions check, plus a new license all in 30 days or less. Thankfully, there is more traffic than cops, otherwise they might've got me ;) The new pad is cool and within WALKING distance to work...in the DC Metro Area that is un-f*cking-heard of unless you live in the District!

Been hashing alot more frequently since the move and have managed to remember some old songs and give the 'songmeisters' a run for their money. Davey Crotchit I'm not but I do know some songs. Have been learning wine recently, and have a nice selection - even if it is disappearing as we speak. The crap in the box at a hash...WTF, even poor sots need cheap booze; there is ALWAYS beer in the fridge to go with the Bushmills in the cupboard.

Runs are getting easier, though some days they really kick my ass. Been doing alot of training for the Army 10 miler, yep, my dumb ass officially registered. My goal is to finish in 1 piece and not wimp out and stop to walk. Hopefully the old knee decides to stay put and not fold; that would really piss me off if it did during the *ace. Training is and has been a royal pain in the ass, I'm making improvements though. Have managed to continuously lose weight and burn body fat while maintaining decent condition.

Don't try this shit unless you are prepared for it, this sucks but the rewards are worth it. Eating 6 times a day requiring you to get up and start chowing at 0700. 400 calories per meal, no fast food, 20-30 minutes of cardio EVERY morning, plus running and working out. Whoo! I'm tired just typing it! Actually, all the work is worth every second of the crap - I'm off the smokes, off the caffeine, eating fruits and veggies, fish and chicken, working out and running and I feel great! Now, I cannot sleep in for the life of me, 0700 at the latest, even on the weekends and I'm up and running. Definitely a life changer!

Training update

Hard to believe it's been a month already...my how time flies. I pretty much decided that TexMex was the last hurrah as far as drinking for effect goes. Not to say that I'm going to quit hashing, NEVER! I'm going to get in shape, real shape, maybe even *arathon shape. That means sacrifice, long hours weight training, running and the proper diet.

Here's my starting stats:

40 year old male, 77", 220 lbs, 20.2 % body fat, running 30-45 minutes 2 days/week, weight training 2-3 days per week/45-50 minute sessions.

Recent Achievements: Quit smoking, Survived the Asshole Trail, Work promotion

Rationale: To see if I can stick to my guns and do it. Temp was 16 with a wind chill of 5...needless to say the beer was cold. Trail was good and brisk, mostly roads and fields, standard fare in these parts. At "B" a few cold beers were enjoyed before packing up and heading to the apres', On-On, circle where it was warm, etc. Yuengling and Natty Bo were the brews supplied for circle with Diet Coors as down down beer.

After a brief circle, (they just aren't in to "epic" circles here) we retired upstairs for some first rate black bean chili and beef stew, loads of Shiner Bock, Yuengling Black and Tan and several bottles of red and white wine. After a few bottles were consumed the pack started in on the latest newbie trying to name her. After much talk and more alcohol, the pack decided on a naming. Performing the naming in the closest rendition to AH3 that I could remember, we sent Just Julie away and the GM received all the info, so we called Just Julie back. Blah, blah, and by the power vested in me by "G", the pack and the beer in this bottle...henceforth and forever, you shall be known as "Swinging On It" in the Old Farts Hash House Harriers.

Swinging On It was derived from the fact that she has been known to show "swinger" tendencies and mentalities, and the fact that when calling "on", it came out as "on it". That's the official version. Unofficially, she has 6 children, looks damn hot for 50+, and states that she really enjoys sex - you figure it out

Liquid Dinner

Been awhile since I've had Bud Light for dinner, yeah, all the Jack disappeared as a prelude to TexMex. Got to meet a great bunch of folks and see some friends not seen except for on here. To the Kimchi's: You guys Rock!! I am honored to have been accepted into your kennel. I will get out your way and hash with y'all again. Gagger and Spotty: Great to see y'all again, I had such a blast. Brownie: We're both from PA what else can I say.

I do remember this: most of Thursday night, beer at breakfast Friday, the pubcrawl, 3 man, Rosa's, box o wine, Beirut, Irish Car-Bombs and a late night game of hurl. All of the rest of the weekend! Man, I gotta tell you...I partied like a rockstar on Friday and lived to see Saturday. Now that's a f*^kin' accomplishment! I'll try to get photos out Sunday as I am ever so behind here. After I get the photo's out I'll kind of be just lurking around for a few months until I get re-settled. That being said, I bitched out my boss because he was being a prick and a big pain in my ass. No worries though, I really don't "work" for him anymore - transition is a wonderful thing. I went home and hit the weightpile and over did it, felt like someone hit me in the back with a Buick this morning. So......I milked it for all I could get, which was riding a desk looking busy until 12:00. He left at 1:00, so I went back to Plan A. Bailed at 3ish and decided to try out an acupuncturist a buddy recommended.

Went in, told the guy I screwed my back up lifting too much weight, he said to try acupuncture. Said, "Let's do it" and went back. He put the needles in (absolutely painless), hooked the needles up to a battery device which made the muscle pulse and let me go for 1/2 an hour. Removed the needles, flipped me over, repeated the needles and electricity process and left me for nap #2. After time was up, I received an excellent massage and was out the door. All that for $65, not bad at all for 2 hours worth. I felt great when I left and feel better now...Jack is helping me medicate. Said I need 1 more session and I'll be good to go, so I'm going Monday after work.

Got a prelim hash with the Old Farts on Sunday. Looking forward to drinking my way through Frederick. Monday I'm gonna milk for being lame, Tuesday I have an all day briefing somewhere, Wednesday is a big f*&%off day, then off to Mom and Dad's to store the car and start drinking as I won't have to drive until sometime Tuesday morning.

Can't wait.

New Glasses

Got new glasses yesterday...well I ordered them, they may be in beforeTexMex but that remains to be seen. Starting Friday, I meandered up the road into PA taking my sweet ass time and still getting to the site about an hour early, went to find a bar and ended up at Ruby Tuesday's for a steak burger and 2 big Yuengling's. I asked but they did not have Iron City there, must've been too far east of Pittsburgh. After awhile, it was time to go to the site. Enjoying the beautiful weather with the roof open, the breeze blowing, the tunes cranking and a good buzz just kicking in...yep, you guessed it, I overshot the entrance by about 5 miles. Turning around at the first place I was able, I decided a high speed run down the backcountry roads was in order. Yep, missed the entrance again. Deciding to opt for a more pacific approach, I made it in and proceeded to set up camp.

Folks wandered in from all over the place, with the 70's music setting the tone, the frisbee's came out, the hot tub showed up and work started on the shower set up. I spent a bit of time meeting new hashers, running across old friends not seen in some time, Europe'an Whore wandered in and we caught up while drinking some good Begian ale. It was shortly after this that I was wandering over to the keg truck to reload, where I saw BBC from Albuquerque getting out of a vehicle. We both did the point and "I know you" routine and settled in for some beers just before the start of the Friday trail. We loaded up our mugs, got on the bus and headed out for trail; the whole bus singing all the songs we all know so well. Trail was fast, unhasher-like fast, maybe-I-shouldn't-have-drank-6-beers-before-the-hash fast. After resigning to stick with the real pack, we wandered to the beer check. What a beer check this was...600-700ft of vertical, knee-popping, ass-kicking, rocks and dirt. Beer and water all around, then more beer and then back down 600-700ft of ass-busting, hasher-sliding rocks and dirt and on to trail. The rest of trail was good and even though Dead Man Walking and I decided to "zen" trail aka long cut a short corner, we hit the circle. Great circle! Lots of beer and good times. Saturday's events to follow.

Hopefully, this works...To see pictures of the event, click <a href="www.kodakgallery.com/AlbumMenu.jsp?"target="_blank">here

A Hasher Turns 40

I stole the title from Jimmy Buffett, but what the hell, this only happens once. Today has been a great day! I took off from work, slept in and just chilled till lunch. I went to the Charles Town raceway and slots for the afternoon to see what the Las Vegas of West Virginia had in store. Lots and lots of slots were found. I wandered around making money for the casino for about and hour and a half, finally hit for $500 on the $5 slots, had a few beers in celebration, blew about $200 more cause I got greedy, got smart and went to the winery.

I swear, I have more wine in the fridge than beer now. My favorite winery, Breaux vineyards; was deserted so I went in to the tasting room, had a few "samples" of some excellent Chardonnay, Viognier and a Pinot Gris. Tried for the discount rate on a bottle because today was my birthday, didn't get a discount but received a free glass on the house. I bs'ed with the nice lady behind the counter for a bit, and left with 2 bottles of Chardonnay and 1 Viognier (for Mom).

Finally, I was treated to an excellent surf and turf dinner from my folks, had a little cake and champagne and headed for the house. Got a new Polo shirt and a fat check from Mom and Dad, allegedly for surviving this long.

All in all, an excellent day was had! Must take my mostly inebriated self to bed so I can go to work tomorrow with a nice hangover.

Got Sunblock?

So there I was bored off my ass Saturday morning when Mom calls and asks if I want to go to a wine festival. I said sure, when and where? She tells me to float on down to the house and we'll go from there. Great time, plenty of good wine - yes, it's not beer but I gotta get some culture in somewhere. Spend 4 or so hours drinking wine in the hot sun. Yes, I got sunburned but not that bad. You'd think I'd wear sunblock, but noooooo SPF 4 in Virginia should be more than enough.

Sunday, I went hashing. A nice 5 miler through the wilds of Harper's Ferry in West Virginia. We ran a trail with great views, f*cked up checks and I ended up snaring the hare while searching for trail off a check. We regrouped after pantsing the bastard and continued on the rest of trail. Somewhere down along the Potomac, all the hash marks just stopped. I scouted down a bit further and when I came back to last mark, the hare had showed up with beer and tubes! After a refreshing beer check, we hit the water and started floating down the Potomac, drinking beer, just like back in Texas. We had one blowout and some pretty hard rocks but all in all a great time.

At the bar, once out of the sun, everyone started turning a bright shade of red. I do not know how bad everyone else got fried, but I look like a freakin' lobster. Several beers, 1 cold shower and 1/2 a bottle of Solarcaine later, I could move but was a hutin' scooter. Today at work the A/C died, my boss has been laughing his ass off at me, making lobster-boy comments and saying that I sure am red. I'm officially hiding from the sun until this weekend, when, of course; it's time to wander down to the southern shores of Maryland for lots of drinks, good friends (in from Texas), and probably more sunburn. If I can get the pix from Roll-On, I'll post'em here.

Trail

Looking forward to a nice trail-happy weekend. Got all the makings for an excellent trail - shiggy, a reservoir, a good 500 ft swim, a 100 ft swim, railroad tracks, a ravine, a few cliffs, a bit of road and hopefully no cops to bust me for drinking while scouting.

Proving that 1/2 minds think alike, DCH4 is hosting a trail not 3 miles from where I'll be drinking err...scouting. Time once again to drink their beer, run their trail and eat all the free food I can. That's an easy 10 miles tomorrow between scouting and doing trail.

Beer is good, beer is good, let's go drink some beeeeeeeerrrrrr! Heard that song on the way into work and have no idea who the artist is, but the mood was set, left early, got beer and went to it like a hound dog after his favorite chew toy. The Modelo Especial's are going down way too easy right now - Jack is knocking and it IS Friday after all...maybe the Tequila'll get out.

Change is Good

Time keeps rolling along. Change and advancement in the pursuit of one's dreams should keep pace - or at least try to anyway. Somehow, I got stuck in limbo over the course of the last 2 years. Just yesterday, I took a really big stick and took a whack at the ball and it is starting to roll, ever so slowly. As the next 6 months progress, some things should start happening in a positive light.

Odds are 80 for and 20 against that I may be coming back to Texas by May of 2007. One way or another I will get myself out of this limbo that I have been in and on with my life again. The risk is on the high side but is calculated and very manageable. More will come to be known as 2006 winds to a close.

In other news, be on the lookout for Tales from the Trail, a new photo journey exploring the wilds of Pennsylvania. Whoa dude, back away from the burgers. It seems that the movie Supersize Me didn't scare me off McD's, Burger Death and Wendy's. They are the Big 3 choices for lunch when I forget to pack my own, so it's back to Tuna, Salmon, salads, lite meals, lotsa water and of course, the gym.

I can see the gym in my complex from my balcony, hell, even in this bloated state of shape I could hit it with an empty beer bottle. It's a nice gym, has the right machines, bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, the works. Yes, I went once. I do have freeweights in the form of two 30# dumbbells that I used to use to stay trim and toned. They've been making a nice indentation on the carpet in my bedroom, so I decided to try one of my older workouts yesterday after work. Geez, 1 set each at 12-15 reps and I was pouring sweat and already sore. Thank G for Icy-Hot and Motrin! I guess this also means the beer consumption has to slow a bit-aaaaarrrrgggghhhh, say it isn't so Dusty! Need to go hit some more trails and not try to out drink the 30 year olds, like I did last weekend.

BTW, I went na-na around 0100 and they were still going strong in the hot tub. Heard everything broke up around 0400. Boy, can those guys drink some beer! Although, they probably would have to be humped out by Medevac if they ever tried even a sort-of-short Austin trail, let alone some of the monsters I've laid back this way.

All in all, it seems change is on the horizon, as well as, some big ugly number headed my way next month.

43 days till Nittany Valley's 950th weekend!

PS: I did buy a camera, so proof will be forthcoming for such events as I described here prior!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th to everyone out there, especially our fellow men and women serving in our Armed Forces. The hangover and the lobster tan were nothing compared to the permagrin this morning and the thought of, "Gee, it's gonna happen again tomorrow."

Now, if I can only get the girls to go hashing...

Going Digital...

Anyone have any suggestions on digital cameras? MD, VA and DC are into Day 6 of the "rainstorm that won't go away". DC has declared a state of emergency because of flooding, power lines down, mudslides and the like. I'm sure the Brits and those from Seattle are feeling right at home with all this rain. Today started out sunny, but guess what? Yep, it's raining yet again. Haven't seen the top of the mountain for days and it's only a mile away. Rain more, drink more - hey! I sense a pattern here. As for the approx. 14 wankers who braved the elements to cum on out and hash - there was a great trail! 10+ miles of shiggy, swamps, mud, beer , hills, more beer, creeks, animals and not a lick of pavement the whole way. 2 1/2 hours later after several beers at the start, Frees Willy and can you believe it...Dustballs were the FRB's. Seems all that Motrin and/or beer took its effect and got me back in one piece way out front. Wow!

Circle was short and a little off balance as some nameles wanker from Baltimore tried to run the circle and failed miserably (probably cuz he was so short) then the weenies came out and there was fire! and a feast amidst the mud, beer and rain. Late night, after what was the 3rd or 4th of many downpours came more beer and great hash stories, some songs and s'mores. Yummy!

Sunday afternoon found 5 semi-drowned wankers in Fredneck attempting to pull off a fatboy trail. 1 check into trail, all hell broke loose from up above and trail was officially washed out. We adjourned to the beer check, had a mini circle/wet t-shirt contest (both harrierettes won) and proceeded to kill the keg. BTW, flat Killian's tastes worse than Beast on a good day.

The On-On-On was held off at a newly christened hasher's place (Eats An Inch Then Spits) where there was a veritable feast from Domino's, the last of the keg and of course some girl on girl action with a few lucky guys getting in on it. Gotta love these married female hashers in Fredneck, should've hit this hash long before now.

On-On to Nittany Valley in August!

OFH3 Campout!

Fredneck's Old Fart Hash and the Baltimore-Annapolis Hash is hosting a Hash Campout. This is the first ever event for these folks, so they're doing it on the cheap. $10 and a covered dish gets you a turkey trail, optional eagle trail (ballbuster), beer and a smattering of other nocturnal hash habits, possible midnight clothing optional hash?

I'm going to go get dice before I go so that 3-man can get re-established here on the East Coast (Thx to Spotty for re-learning me on 3-man ettiquette) . As soon as I figure out how to upload a photo I will. Thanks to all the fine folks at the Albuquerque Hash for putting on such an awesome CoTex. I had an absloute blast. Thanks go out to Spotty and Gagger who made getting there, being there and getting back so much more fun and interesting. Y'all were awesome!

Recap of last week in condensed form:

Monday: Thank God I took today off, between the hangover and the jetlag; I don't want to move.
Tuesday: Work sucks, and yes they missed me to the tune of 350 e-mails.
Wednesday: Still suffering the effects of dehydration and hey, Jack tastes great after work!
Thursday: Worked a 12, took nap on freeway home, went face first on bed.
Friday: Slept in, went to work late and pushed out deployment number 1 , 12 hours later.

Saturday: Pushed out deployment number 2, went to the American Legion with a possible virgin hasher, Jeff and got drunk as hell for free! Went drunken shopping - bought alot of food. Made it home in one piece, finished off the Jack and crashed...hard.

Today: I got internet yea! Was it the hash, the food at the apres'...I think not. It was probably the all night drinking binge at some hasher's pad in Arlington. Really don't remember too much, not that I was trashed, just a pretty boring ass hash party in DC. When all was said and done at 0730 Easter Sunday morning, myself and a non-hasher, Dave were sucking down the suds heading north on 495 to drop me at home. 4 hours later, living death set in. Felt like total shit at some yuckity-yuck, overpriced, gourmet brunch. The food and service were way above this hashers normal standards and I set a good example by following post hash party etiquette and having a beer first thing.

Life went down hill from there, felt like crap by 1700 and crawled into bed. Woke up at 0530 the next morning and promptly e-mailed myself in sick. E-mail is the shit! I've never e-mailed in sick before. Gone are the days of making hacking noises while holding your nose talking on the phone pretending you are sick when all you want to do is catch up on some sleep, go to the beach or get rid of your hangover by laying around on the couch all day. I chose selections 1 and 3. Here's a summary of the rest of the week:

Tuesday, felt like shit. Wednesday and Thursday - see Tuesday. Finally, this morning I felt great, woke up pouring sweat, which proves I was really sick and not just hungover - afterall, it was only Yuengling on tap, not Beast or anything really hideous. Went to work with a kick ass take names attitude and fucked with everyone all day long. Pissed off half of them and the other half tried to keep up, but never succeeded.

Saturday is a hashing day! At least tomorrow is 'round here. The weather is up in the air, so i'm helping myself to the beer check beer - BallantineXXX and toasting G asking for either 80 degrees and sunny or a fucking monsoon (go monsoon!). Tomorrow is my last hash with DCH4 and I have an ugly, shiggy trail that'll peter out at about 10 miles, give or take a mile. Got the Ballantine XXX, it was the cheapest I could find at the yuppie beer store down the road, 20 pounds of flour, chalk and a soon to be retired pair of hash shoes. I figure worst case scenario is me laying trail while consuming said XXX in a minor monsoon at about 50 degrees laughing maniacally about all the wankers who will attempt this small rendition of a ballbuster DC style (meaning kinder, gentler). I could lay a sonofabitch trail but that would be in vain as no one would show (they've said so, as I've threatened one already). So, I need y'all to pray for a monsoon, typhoon, hurricane, tornado or other such ugly weather for this hash.

So much for yakkin' about the deed, gotta go prep and pray. As Brownie would say, see all yunz guys later.

CoTex Bound

Out with the old in with the new, just spent nearly $6oo at IKEA getting furniture in prepping for the new move. Work sucks - but can you say cha-ching! Looks like I'll be in limbo for another year waiting for some government worker to process my packet so I can move up in the world - or at least have more money for hash trips elsewhere. Until then, party on Garth!

As the title of this states, yes, I'm headed for CoTex. Shoulda' gone to TXIH but last minute crap at work got in my way - that and a $700 plane ticket was a little steep. I figure I'll fly into Albuquerque and either bum a ride or drive to Ruidoso. A ride would be awesome, that way I can see the desert scenery instead of looking for cops who are looking for out of town wankers who regularly disobey the speed limit. The rego form goes in tomorrow's mail. It's on!

Brownie, you'll be pleased to know that PBR is the only beer I'm bringing to my last DCH4 hash and if I remember, I'll bring you some Yuengling - so remind me.

I have a nice small ballbuster planned for the 22nd here in DC and have been looking for a nice mountain run up in Frederick for the Old Farts Hash. I've decided that since I spent more time in Texas than here, I'm declaring myself a Texas hasher who is temporarily lost on trail. Either that or homeless, we'll see.

So much for dieting, haven't been able to get below 200 pounds and stay there. You name it, I've tried it. I'm on ripped fuel now and it seems to work, but I can't tell. Still working out 3-4 days a week and *unning here and there. Gonna try to quit smoking the end of this month. So, if I show up to CoTex stressing hard, that's why.

Time to finish the rego, cook dinner and have another beer. Domesticated life blows!

Tex-Mex 6

Howdy one and all!

Just returned and still recovering from Tex Mex in El Paso. Awesome time! even for a quiet type like me. It was good to see many old friends and make some new ones. The trails were great, the beer and wild times were plentiful. Dick never got his midget and he and Ticket became fused for the weekend. Henceforth and forever they shall be known as Dicket - the twins. My God can those guys party! Caught Dick passed out in the hallway one night and he swore that he was on the phone and would go in to the room...oops! Ask Dick about the night he spent with his shoe out on the lawn. Bleeder (DC version) is getting hooked up back this way the 1st hash chance I get for failing to drop his pants and take it like a man for Charlotte the Harlot out at the hot tub. UPS and TMT good to see y'all, hope you didn't freeze going back to AZ. Fish, I'll try to keep this updated. On-On Y'all, I'm off to grab some crawdad etouffe' in Bethesda. Brownie- you rock for a wanker - thanx for not losing me on trail Thursday - the altitude damn near killed me.
I'm gone!
