New Direction
Having spent the weekend pretty much cooped up in the house due to the fricking frigid weather outside, I've come to a new school of thought. I pretty much decided that TexMex was the last hurrah as far as drinking for effect goes. Not to say that I'm going to quit hashing, NEVER! I'm going to get in shape, real shape, maybe even *arathon shape. That means sacrifice, long hours weight training, running and the proper diet.
Here's my starting stats:
40 year old male, 77", 220 lbs, 20.2 % body fat, running 30-45 minutes 2 days/week, weight training 2-3 days per week/45-50 minute sessions.
Recent Achievements: Quit smoking, Survived the Asshole Trail, Work promotion
Rationale: To see if I can stick to my guns and do it. Really want to be in better shape, for me.
