Kicking My Own @SS!

Been real busy working for the man here in Va as of late, I relocated to Va from Md back in April. Boy, it is a pain in the ass it is to register a car in this state - Title, Registration, Plates, Safety and Emissions check, plus a new license all in 30 days or less. Thankfully, there is more traffic than cops, otherwise they might've got me ;) The new pad is cool and within WALKING distance to work...in the DC Metro Area that is un-f*cking-heard of unless you live in the District!

Been hashing alot more frequently since the move and have managed to remember some old songs and give the 'songmeisters' a run for their money. Davey Crotchit I'm not but I do know some songs. Have been learning wine recently, and have a nice selection - even if it is disappearing as we speak. The crap in the box at a hash...WTF, even poor sots need cheap booze; there is ALWAYS beer in the fridge to go with the Bushmills in the cupboard.

Runs are getting easier, though some days they really kick my ass. Been doing alot of training for the Army 10 miler, yep, my dumb ass officially registered. My goal is to finish in 1 piece and not wimp out and stop to walk. Hopefully the old knee decides to stay put and not fold; that would really piss me off if it did during the *ace. Training is and has been a royal pain in the ass, I'm making improvements though. Have managed to continuously lose weight and burn body fat while maintaining decent condition.

Don't try this shit unless you are prepared for it, this sucks but the rewards are worth it. Eating 6 times a day requiring you to get up and start chowing at 0700. 400 calories per meal, no fast food, 20-30 minutes of cardio EVERY morning, plus running and working out. Whoo! I'm tired just typing it! Actually, all the work is worth every second of the crap - I'm off the smokes, off the caffeine, eating fruits and veggies, fish and chicken, working out and running and I feel great! Now, I cannot sleep in for the life of me, 0700 at the latest, even on the weekends and I'm up and running. Definitely a life changer!
